Malcontent

You think I’m a malcontent
I just see the complexities
The criss-crossing layers
All important all relevant
All essential ingredients
Without which
It lacks depth integrity
And resonance
It takes too much energy
To stay and educate persuade
Awaken you
So I retreat again
To the mountaintop the cave
The shadows
Where I am alone
Craving connection and celebration
But more at peace
Then when I am with you
