Isolation

You tell me that
Isolation is not the solution
Implicitly failing to recognize
That I vibrate at a different frequency
Which gets jumbled and jangled
From interfacing with the world

Noise vs. sound
My antennae are sensitively tuned
And the distortions inherent in collective noise
Jam my receptors
Causing pain and suffering
Which I can avoid
In retreat
Amidst the harmonious quiet
of tree in the forest
Where I can dial into the Divine
And hear the call of my Soul
