All of my unhealthy cells
Voluntarily surrender their lives
And lovingly choose to die
So that I may live and flourish

I keep ending up
In the position of manager
With disgruntled employees
Resentful of my role
But I did not ask
To be the only one
Taking responsibility
Or to be the only one
With competency
I wish I could glide along
But my life is intertwined with yours
And I cannot relax
Floating downstream
On a polluted river

It is
A clusterfuck of variables
Each of which
Is a clusterfuck
Of other variables
None of which you understand
Leading to a bottleneck
That threatens to destroy me
Through implosion
With any attempt at
Self-expression and release
Further exacerbating matters
In yet another clusterfuck
Requiring inordinate levels
Of intelligence and creativity
To rise above yet again
All the while in
My most depleted and exhausted state
As a result of
The clusterfuck
