Violent Extraction
People leaving my life
Through explosion
Active betrayal followed by
Accusation
Trying to pin the blame
Of bad behavior
On me

The universe is spinning
And everything I have
To hold onto
Is also falling
Further toppling me

I see people with stability
Do they lack integrity

A moment
A decision
That sets in motion
A domino effect
That over time
Is your Life

While there are a constellation of variables
And numerous circumstances
Outside your control
You are graced with
Free will
And you choose
Whether and how to use it
Whether or not
You’re aware of it

Moving through time and space
With a central operating principle
That guides you
Determines your conceptualization of
And interplay with
What faces you
In turn
Determining the outcome
That shapes your world

Listen

I heeded the call
Of my Soul
Even as you tried
To shatter and destroy Her
In the false name of Love

Even as you actively forbade me
From rising above
I created a shelter for Her
Protected Her
Unleashed Her
In Pure Form
When the time was right

I bow to no idols
And that means

You have the arrogance
To tell me what is and is not possible
Despite a wealth of historical example
Of people exceeding expectations
And overturning previous conceptualizations
Of how the world operates

You expect me to bow to your presumptions
And accept your preconceived recursive notions
As Truth
Building imposing castles
With bricks that are rotten at the core
Motivating you to guard them ferociously
Knowing somewhere inside
That you are a fake
And that you stand on a foundation
That will easily crumble
From the soft breath
Of the Heart spoken
