Then scream and cry about
The impact of the explosion
And I
A kind and gentle soul
Care
Despite your actions
Putting my life your mother’s life
On the line
In danger
Were it not for my
Herculean strength
Which you detest
Because it keeps me
Out of your control
As you malign me
And frame emergency responses
To medical crises
As being all about
Attempts to control you
When your active negligence and abandonment
Made it have
Nothing to do with you
At all
