I have given
The one last drop
I have left
Well beyond capacity
But reaching down
And reaching out
Anyhow
To allow at least
For closure
For something beautiful
Affirming that this was true
And meaningful
But you won’t even give 1%
To my 99
I am devastated crushed
While you I am sure
Are wallowing
In your self-righteous
Self-pity
As always
Your kindness and care
Extended to me
Only when they were convenient
Which makes them
Questionable
At the core
And I’m not sure what to do
With these conflicting energies
That exist all at once
