Not Willing to Give You My Life Force

I have channeled
My power vision focus
To creating what is not there
To making right what is wrong
In the process
Willing to take the heat the hit
To dive into and stand in the line of
Fire
But I have been cleaning up
Your mess
Your laziness and unwillingness
Your lack of care
In general and for me
This entire time
Which has exhausted
My energy my efforts
And siphoned off
What I have needed
For healing myself
Into wholeness
No
I am not willing
To give you
My Life Force
Anymore

Without Looking Back

It starts with
My internal landscape
My willingness to be well
Quietly erasing
The deleterious effects
Of my childhood
Understanding that
My compromised state
Was not mine
And was not me
That I was
Who I am today
Whom I have become
Through my focused and intensive process
Of cleansing purifying transforming
And so there is nobody
I need to rescue
She was not she
She was not I
By flowing ahead
Without looking back
I am not abandoning her
To the brutality and totality
Of his violence
I was never there
To begin with
And so
I no longer need
To ingest and embody
The wounds the damage
From the violence
In particular
When doing so
Would compromise and cripple
My ability
To be full whole today
And set me back
From spreading the full span
Of my wings
And taking flight

Project Manager

I never wanted to be
The project manager
Its where I end up
Because nobody steps in
And I care deeply
So I take it on
Then you try to shoot me down
From the sidelines
Criticizing heckling condemning
Unaware of what’s involved
Unwilling to get your hands dirty
And incapable of accomplishing
A fraction
of what I have

I don’t want to be
The project manager
I want to use my energies
To design my own life
Pursue my own dreams
And live with joy and grace

No I don’t want to be
The project manager
But if I let go
Will you step in
